I stumbled on this northern flicker feather on a nature walk. Feathers have long been revered across cultures, symbolizing freedom, protection, and spiritual connection. The northern flicker, with its charming plumage, embodies adaptability and resilience. As the focal point of this artwork, its feather whispers tales of harmony with nature and the magic of the wilderness. With its intricate patterns and vibrant hues, it's a delightful reminder to pause, breathe, and marvel at the beauty all around us.

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.
My creative path has taken a few twists—starting as a teacher, then running a vintage shop, and even designing jewelry for Anthropologie stores around the world. Creativity has always been part of my life, but it was during the quiet of COVID that I really fell in love with painting. What started as a way to slow down and breathe turned into something much bigger.
Now, I work as a mixed media artist, creating textured, layered pieces inspired by abstract forms, birds, people, and the messy beauty of being human. I let intuition lead the way—building up, breaking down, and letting the history of each piece show through.
Thanks for stopping by and spending a little time with my work.
